For teams who hit limits in everyday interactions
-
Many teams know the theory.
Non-violent communication, feedback rules, de-escalation strategies
– all heard before, often even trained. And yet: In the actual moment, something blocks. You get louder than you intended. You stay silent when you should speak up. You're frustrated with yourself afterwards – because you actually know better.
That's where I come in.
My work isn't about teaching methods. I don't bring 10-step plans or ready-made solutions for your structures. What I do bring: A sense for what's happening beneath the surface – which unconscious thoughts, fears, or beliefs prevent people from actually applying their knowledge.
"That would be too harsh." "I can't say that." "If I'm direct now, this will escalate."
Those inner arriers - I make them visible. And then we work with them.
-
I come from clinical psychology and have worked for years as a freelance trainer in threat management. I continue to train crisis interventions and extreme situations within that institutional framework.
My independent work is different:
I support teams and leaders who hit their limits in everyday professional life – not from lack of competence, but because situations are complex, emotions run high, and structures don't always cooperate.I understand different people and roles quickly – I really listen. Not through softening everything, but through making it safe enough to be honest.
I work cognitively and physically: Not just talking about communication, but training the voice – the actual tool of communication. Especially gentle personalities, women, and people without physically intimidating presence often experience that their words don't land – because tone, body language, and inner uncertainty speak louder than content. That can be changed.
Formats developed in conversation with you
We talk, I listen, then build what fits.
No off-the-shelf programs.
Typical topics:
Communication that lands – even under pressure
Why don't I say what I wanted to say in the crucial moment? What's blocking me?
Resilience without self-optimization pressure
Building psychological resilience – honestly, without "mindfulness app" romanticism.
Handling difficult conversation situations
Chronically dissatisfied people, complaint marathons, passive aggression, everyday boundary violations. Sometimes also extreme situations: suicidal statements, false accusations, psychotic states.
Voice and presence
How do I sound when I'm nervous? How can I develop assertiveness physically as well?
Psychological fundamentals
I also give talks and trainings on mental illnesses and disorders – for teams who want to expand or refresh their psychological knowledge. For instance in social services, counseling centers, or healthcare.
Supervision
& Team support
Beyond seminars, I also offer team and case supervision
– for example for teams navigating between different expectations and interests,
or burdened by specific cases or ongoing conflicts.
I work realistically
– with a touch of idealism.
Some constraints are structural and won't change. But within those: Where are the margins?
Where is the fight worth it – and where does acceptance or separation make more sense?
I don't assume that "correct communication" solves all problems. Aggression in society is rising
– and that shows verbally too. There are real situations where de-escalation is no longer the right strategy.
I talk about that too.
And: I work with everyone – the impulsive as well as the reserved.
Both need something different, both get space.
What participants experience
Feedback varies – some appreciate that I respond flexibly to concerns,
others would prefer more structure.
What most take away:
Concrete impulses.
Sentences they want to try out.
Permissions they hadn't given themselves before.
Or simply the feeling:
"Ah, that's why it hasn't worked before."
Interested?
If you notice that theoretical knowledge alone isn't enough – that something is blocking in the team, that communication is difficult, or that people don't react under pressure the way they actually could – get in touch.
I work primarily in Germany and also offer digital formats. For in-person seminars, I'm happy to travel. We'll clarify in conversation what you need. No standard solution, but something that fits you.
